What does the Flat Pak Pizza System consist of?
The Flat Pak system has a 100% recyclable poly blend bag with some biodegradable components and a 100% compostable plant fiber pizza tray. Placing the pizza in the stackable tray and putting that into our poly bag and sealing it, gives you the Flat Pak Pizza system, allowing you to transport your pizza wherever you need to go, hot or cold.

With hot pizza, will the Flat Pak Pizza System cause my pizza to get soggy?
NO! The system, when sealed, has two small air gaps on either side of the bag. This creates a natural convection inside the bag that not only keeps your pizza hotter, but keeps the right amount of moisture inside the bag. The moisture you see is from your pizza and not the outside air. Pizza boxes suck up that moisture, leaving your pizza drier as time passes. In the Flat Pak Pizza System, a majority of that moisture returns to your pizza, keeping it fresher, longer.

What sizes of the Flat Pak Pizza System are available?
We currently service three (3) sizes for the Take-n-Bake industry: 12”, 14”, & 16” and two sizes for the Hot Pizza industry: 12” & 14”. Any other sizes can be done for you as a custom order with a minimum order of 100,000 units per size + tooling & startup costs.

What are the heating capabilities of the Flat Pak Pizza System?
THE BAG IS NOT FOR USE IN ANY OVEN. The pizza tray can be used in any conventional or pizza oven for heating up to 450 degrees. Any cooked pizza that is placed on the tray and used to store as leftovers in the refrigerator can reheat the pizza on the same tray in any conventional oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. This has been tested on the same pizza leftovers up to 3 times with great results. Take-n-Bake trays are specially constructed to bake a Take-n-Bake pizza at the proper temperature mandated by the pizza merchant. These trays can also be used for reheating in the same fashion as the hot pizza trays.

How long will a pizza stay warm in a Flat Pak Pizza System?
A normal pizza will stay warm and fresh for up to 60 minutes inside a Flat Pak system. Our extensive testing has shown that a pizza in the Flat Pak Pizza System will stay up to 20 degrees hotter in the first 30 minutes vs. the standard corrugated pizza box, greatly increasing the quality of a delivered pizza to the customer. This testing was done on a variety of pizza types and qualities, all with pretty similar results.
